Integrative Rheumatology partners with Young Living to offer essential oils for our patients. We believe that these old have natural properties that can hep relax, energize, soothe, and support.

Guidelines for Safety
Due to the potency of essential oils, be sure to follow these important safety guidelines when using them:

Always read the label for appropriate use before using each oil.

Dilute, if needed (use fatty oils like olive oil, coconut oil, jojoba oil, etc.) as some oils can cause cooling or warming sensation to skin.

Stop using if discomfort or irritation occurs. Do NOT rinse with water but rather apply carrier oil to affected area.

Start slow with 2-3 drops aromatically and 1-2 drops topically, using more as desired.

Avoid eyes and ears.

Citrus oils safety: Follow label instructions and avoid direct sunlight for 12-48 hours.
